The exhibition brings together nearly 60 paintings in oil and watercolor from the 1930s through 1953 that draw their inspiration from the coast of Maine and the architecture of Manhattan. John Marin has been recognized as one of America's foremost watercolorists since his early work was first championed by Alfred Stieglitz.
