The Captain Samuel Robbins House Museum is a 1820's sea captain's home located in Avon, MA. It opens regularly for tours and special events. Special group tours may be arranged by appointment. Our evening tours are led by candlelight and a singer accompanying the tour group will sing in several rooms, to bring to life the atmosphere of this beautiful 1820's home with its high ceilings and lovely furnishings.
This is a sister museum to Blanchard's Colonial Tavern, a living museum of 1780's tavern history. Both buildings are non-profit museums owned and operated by the H. L. Blanchard Trust of Avon.
