Come outside and play! Recent studies suggest that today's children suffer from "nature deficit disorder" a term coined by Richard Louv (Last Child in the Woods) caused from lack of interaction with the natural world. This afterschool program will counteract this tendency by helping children expend pent up energy, become familiar with the sanctuary and notice seasonal changes. There will be no set topic, the curriculum will be determined by what is actually happening on the property at the time of the program.
