The Western Greenway includes over 1,000 acres of green space running through Lexington, Waltham and Belmont. The Friends of the Western Greenway have been busy building trails, boardwalks, and bridges to extend the greenway trail that eventually will conntect all the parcels in a 12-mile loop. We now have reached an milestone; a 6.5 mile trail from Habitat to the Robert Treat Paine Estate, in Waltham, is now open for serious hiking. Join us as we make this journey from Habitat to Stonehurst.Instructions and Directions: Bring water and a snack or lunch. Return transportation provided.
