Alfred Alcorn will discuss his latest novel, The Love Potion Murders in the Museum of Man, and his interesting career as a writer, journalist and travel guide on Tuesday, May 5th in the Assembly Room of the Belmont Public Library at 7:00 pm. Admission is free. Sponsored by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library.
During a varied career in journalism, he worked for CBS, the Boston Herald Traveler, the Worcester Telegram, and the Montgomery Advertiser (Alabama). For several years Alfred Alcorn ran the travel program at the Harvard Museum of Natural History, organizing and leading natural history trips. Alcorn retired to write full time in 2001, though he still guides trips to India, Africa and elsewhere.
