Developing Theme Gardens

Monday, Feb 27 9:30a to 10:30a
at Beverly Public Library, Beverly, MA
Price: Free
Age Suitability: 18 and up

Theme gardens are based on historical uses of plants. Down through the centuries, certain plants have become associated with certain events. Whether you garden in beds, borders, pots or boxes, gardening themes are lots of fun to play with. Join florist Betsy Williams to learn about the language of flowers, and how to create gardens centered around themes such as weddings, children's story-telling, edible flowers, favorite meals, attracting the "wee folk," or holidays. Handouts included.
