Advanced iPhone Development workshop  is for developers comfortable with the basics of iPhone development.Topics would include advanced UI building, CoreData (direct SQLite access is now discouraged), threading, UI animations, basics of Core Graphics, advanced best practices, working with iCloud and Newstand, etc. This workshop is more free form than the other workshops and part workshop, part hackathon. Developers can feel free to bring their app to the workshop for further refinements and work out any problems. Perquisites for the workshop is completion of the intermediate workshop or an app(s) in the iPhone app store.

This workshop is for people who have never programmed before or haven't touched object-oriented programming. The end goal to have the class have a knowledge of the basic of object oriented programming. By the end of the workshop the students and be able to create a very basic iPhone App.

The advanced workshop is for developers comfortable with the basics of iPhone development. Topics would include advanced UI building, CoreData (direct SQLite access is now discouraged), threading, UI animations, basics of Core Graphics, advanced best practices, working with iCloud and Newstand, etc. software industry.
The advanced workshop includes Web Services, Fetching data from remote services, Caching data locally in SQLite, Build Image Search TableView Application, Performance and Progress, Display progress and activity for long running tasks, Thread operations to keep UI responsive, Enhance Image Search TableView Application with threading, Animation and Drawing, Use UIView animation to do flips, slides, fades and resizing, Enhance Image Search TableView Application with splash page animation, Use Core Graphics to draw shapes, Build Random Polygon Application, etc.
New IOS 5.0 features include:
-  Wireless updates and wireless syncing  through iCloud.  
-   Notification center  for prompting users, 
- Newsstand application for newspapers and magazines
- System-wide integration with the social networking service  Twitter.
