Kids' Beginning Sewing

Newcomers and returning students mix hand and machine sewing. Small classes allow for individual attention, and we encourage kids to share their skills. The youngest children start with pincushions and pillows. Older children advance to aprons, doll clothes and finally clothing. Material supplied for the first meeting. Then, with the instructor’s advice, bring your own fabric or yarn and develop your own sewing or knitting kit. Come for more than one term and make new projects each time.
