AC4-W: Weekly Journeys Through Art: 3D: Building, Sculpting, And Inventing, Ages 9-11

Date: Tuesday to Friday, Feb. 21 - Feb. 24 Course Description: Discover sculpture. In the galleries, sketch from observation; try to hold your balance in the poses of many of our figures; find stone, glass, metal, wood and clay; and examine how artists use everyday objects to build their sculptures. In the studio, learn to mold animals with clay, bend and twist wire, stack and balance wood pieces, carve some soap, build up and up, and learn about moving parts. Instructor: TBD
