Jerry Uelsmann

During his fifty-year career, Jerry Uelsmann has exhibited work in over 100 individual shows, both in the United States and abroad. Uelsmann is most notable for his extensive work in the darkroom, where he manipulates images and uses photomontage from prints and negatives. He creates seamless compositions, images that present a surreal, dreamlike world using familiar imagery and challenging our perceptions of reality.
