Tours incorporate tales of the Toll House cookie, the original Boston Cream Pie, Baker’s Chocolate and and Schrafft’s, highlighting Boston as the birthplace of American Chocolate.
The itinerary includes a Swiss chocolatier with a colorful history, famous for its champagne truffles that consistently make celebrity “must-have” lists, a formal sit-down tasting experience with an executive pastry chef who discusses the trendy flavor infusions found in luxury chocolates today, a crash course in chocolate and wine pairing, a break for the taste buds at a hip cosmetics company that uses chocolate in many of its skincare products, and a small boutique that offers a cultural exploration of the world of chocolate through the largest selection of imported bars in the city (more than 1,800) and much, much more.
Ticket holders must meet the tour guide outside of Nespresso 10 minutes prior to the tour.
