Children's Pupperty and Mask Workshop: German Fastnacht

The Goethe-Institut Boston is pleased to offer a Carnival-themed arts workshop in the spirit of Fastnacht. Over the course of 3 sessions, children will learn about German folklore and theater tradition by making festival masks, hand puppets, and shadow puppets. The 4th and last class focuses on storytelling, where children will get a chance to perform with their newly created puppets and masks. Morning, 9am to 12pm, ages 6-8. Afternoon, 1:30 to 4:30 pm, ages 9-12. Last session: Sunday, all ages.
