Developed in Switzerland in 1957, Helvetica quickly became a typographic celebrity: a modern, "sans serif" type face beloved by contemporary graphic designers around the globe. This 2007 film celebrates Helvetica's 50th anniversary and explores the life, times, and fans of this most ubiquitous, and surprisingly controversial set of letters.
