Master Class: An Introduction to Instruments from Turkey

Do not miss this unique program featuring an expert presentation on Turkish instruments, an interactive music lesson, and even one-on-one instruction by Grammy-nominated musician Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol, of the ensemble Dunya. A world-renowned musician, Mehmet will begin the program by providing background on a variety of rare Turkish instruments, including saz, ney, ud and rebab. Participants will then have the opportunity to try out the instruments.
