James Jiler, former Director of the Greenhouse Project, a horticultural job training program for inmates at New York City's Rikers Island prison and author of Doing Time in the Garden, will speak of the harsh reality of our prison system and a unique approach to re-directing prisoners’ lives through horticulture.
