The selected pieces demonstrate the power of art to invoke comfort, popular imagery, happiness, love, symbolism and nostalgia, The art includes contemporary, historical, abstract and expressionism styles of art as put forth through portraits, still lives and landscapes. The artists all use skillful lines, colors and context through the use of oil, watercolor, graphite, pastel, acrylic and ink and well as photography to help us see and sense their artwork.
