First Parish Church in Dorchester, Unitarian Universalist

First Parish, founded in 1630, is the oldest religious organization in the present city of Boston. Initially called the Church of Christ in Dorchester, it was the second planted in the Massachusetts Bay colony and the third in New England. A Unitarian Universalist church, First Parish opens its prayer space to all who wish to attend. Its 11 A.M. Sunday Service is conducted by Rev. Arthur Lavoie.
