David Friend Recital Hall: Berklee College of Music

In Spring 1998 Berklee opened its fourth recital hall, the David Friend Recital Hall. Located in the college's Genko Uchida Building, the hall provides flexible seating on the main floor for up to 100 people as well as balcony seating on the mezzanine level for an additional 50. The space also includes a movable stage for multiple configurations. The college's three other recital halls provide seating for 125, 100, and 80 people and all four are equipped with audio and video recording equipment.
