Bean City Kids at the BCAE

Bean City Kids is a children's Creative Play Program developed by children's Boston Event company Upon A Star.

These classes were created with the great city of Boston as the backdrop. Hear the sounds of the street, smell and taste the food from the hip new restaurants, see the sites of the past and present....wadle in a Duckling Parade or ride a horse like Paul Revere, follow the freedom trail on a scavenger hunt....around BCAE City!  Our gym class, "Lets Get Physical" will use the 3 elements of the Channel 7 News to incorporate movement as it has not done before.  "Traffic, Weather and Sports"  ...certainly not a typical toddler gym class!  Out of the ordinary and extraordinary -within the studio, children will drive a "Scooter-Car" and learn how to cross Newbury Street, caregivers will help initiate safety of the street, stop and go, maneuver over the Zacham bridge, or explore the 4 seasons and enjoy the New England weather incorporating  activities, movement and games (move around on roly bugs in the "Public Garden" or Throwing  "plush snowballs" at the Bunker Hill Monument... Children will delight in the Sports of NE-Flag Football, or plush hockey....the play is endless and the learning will continue...
Kitchen class, All Around The World in 7 Days is a young child cooking class..children will have the opportunity to learn from great chefs, exploring cultures and cuisines, measuring and mixing ingredients creating dishes from around the world!  Part art class, part math class, party really good lunch!
