SoW is the only Massachusetts non-profit organization providing children affected by homelessness with one-on-one tutoring, backpacks, school supplies, books, school advocacy, and parent workshops. They will conduct tours of the new facility and introduce guests to the ways SoW makes a positive impact on the lives of children experiencing homelessness. Light refreshments will be served.
Funded with a generous grant from the Yawkey Foundations, the new space, located at 831 Pleasant Street, Brockton, will allow SoW to more fully integrate into the communities it serves and to expand and enhance its services for children and families.
Please contact SoW Founder and Executive Director Cheryl Opper, Cheryl@sowma.org, or Program Director, Joanna Channell, Joanna@sowma.org, 508-587-9091 if you are planning to attend the Open House.
