Ancient Bronzes Workshop

This workshop, organized in conjunction with the Victor M. Leventritt Lecture Elusive Originals: Greek Bronze Statues and Roman Marble Copies, brings together archaeologists, art historians, conservators, and scientists to discuss Greek and Roman bronzes, both sculptural and utilitarian. Short talks will address bronze composition, methods of production, contexts of use, and history of research.
