Stone Carving Saturdays

One day workshop for beginners and more experienced carvers. Hand-carving techniques and stone carving lore will be demonstrated and discussed. Use of the Studio’s tools and a modest (5-8) pound piece of white/translucent alabaster are included in the fee. Discussions of safe studio practices and stone and tool sourcing help make this six hour session an excellent initiation to the craft of stone sculpture.
