Boston Archdiocesan Choir School

Founded in 1963 by Dr. Theodore Marier, The Boston Archdiocesan Choir School is a full-time day school for boys in grades 5-8 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Harvard Square, Cambridge MA. Dedicated to providing rigorous academic training and an extensive and unique education in music and liturgy, BACS accepts musically talented and academically qualified boys for full-time study beginning in Grade 5; a few select students are permitted to begin in Grade 6. Students commute from over 20 cities and towns in the greater Boston area. Following graduation from BACS, students go on to the area's best secondary schools including Boston College High School, Boston University Academy, Noble & Greenough School, Portsmouth Abbey School and others. Many of the graduating students receive honors from BACS and scholarships to their new schools.
