Sarasa Chamber Music Ensemble

The Sarasa Ensemble ends its 2011-2012 Concord series with Christina Day Martinson, violin; Timothy Merton, cello; and Maggie Cole, fortepiano, performing trios by Stephen Storace, Haydn and Beethoven. Sarasa's musicians will introduce the musical connections of these three composers. Haydn, the influential “grandfather” of the three, met Storace, an English stage composer, during two visits to London between 1791-1795. Between these trips to London, Beethoven was Haydn's student in Vienna.
