UNH Department of Music Welcomes Guest Pianist Richard Shuster

American pianist Richard Shuster, an associate professor of music and coordinator of piano studies at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX, will perform selected Nocturnes by Gabriel Fauré. Fauré's Nocturnes for piano are exquisite works that span the composer’s entire career. This relatively unknown repertory is unique, emotional and harmonically complex, disproving the composer’s undeserved reputation for saccharin salon music.
