Join us for an 8 mile adventure paddling down the Merrimack River.
This year's theme is “Blazing Paddles”!
Dress in your favorite Wild West attire. Organize your crew of marauders and brave the wilds of the beautiful Merrimack Valley. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics. This year’s race will be bigger and better than ever! The Canoe Race is a blast! Once the river excursion is done, join in the celebration at the Crescent Yacht club in Bradford. Enjoy food & beverage, LIVE music by The Groove as well as awards for the best costume.
7:30AM Shuttle Bus departs from the Upper Deck of the Haverhill Parking Garage and delivers participants to the start line in Lawrence.
8:00AM Registration: Grab some java and doughnuts. Pick-up your sun-screen, bottled water, and bandana.
9:15 AM the Canoe race starts down the Merrimack River - rain or shine!! Get those muscles ready!
12:00 the post-race VIP reception starts at the Crescent Yacht Club in Bradford. There, you will enjoy music, awards, raffles, prizes, food and libations!
Buses will run every hour from 1:00 until 3:00 transporting participants from the VIP reception back to the Upper Deck of the Haverhill Parking Garage to retrieve their cars.
