Lexington Symphony's Patriots’ Day Concert features light-classical favorites by British, French and Pan-American composers including Elgar, Poulenc, Copland and Ginastera. Britain’s youthful Courtney Lewis takes the podium as guest conductor for this program. Maestro Lewis is music director of Discovery Ensemble, a Boston-based chamber orchestra that performs musical outreach for inner-city children, and was recently appointed Assistant Conductor of the Minnesota Orchestra.
