Stew and Brew - Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

Join us by our cozy fire and celebrate mid-winter in true locavore style! Come in out of the cold and enjoy a sampling of tasty winter stews and locally made beers. We will have several stews made from local, seasonal ingredients, including Drumlin raised veggies, lamb, and goat, and local venison. Hearty breads will accompany the dinner, which will include a vegetarian option. Enhance your meal's flavor as you learn about various neighborhood brews and pick your favorite one! Meet other locally-minded foodies and enjoy an evening of good food, drink and conviviality. Open to anyone age 21 or older. Please register before January 30. By learning more about our food - how it is grown, where it comes from, and how to prepare it - we increase our understanding of sustainability, stewardship, and the relationship between us, our food choices and the environment. These Know Your Food programs will encourage discussion and offer opportunities to share and have a good time while becoming more informed about food, farming, and the environment.
