Follow the adventures of Nicki and his mitten in this classic tale by Jan Brett. How did all those animals fit inside? Is that where they usually spend the winter? Meet one of the mitten inhabitants, then go out searching for signs of animal adventures in the fields of Drumlin Farm. Create your own winter story. For one or more adults with 1-3 children per adult. Fees apply to all participants, both adults and children. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, but please mention these participants when registering. Mass Audubon family memberships must be current to receive member rates. Please consider joining when you register. Things You Should Know: Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of all animals and visitors. Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. On the first day of each class, please check in at the Admissions Window (except where noted), to find out where your class will meet. Programs include some time indoors as well as outdoors; please come dressed appropriately for our outdoor adventures! If severe winter weather occurs please call our cancellation line by dialing 781-259-2200 (press 2 and 2 again). In programs where there is a farm to food connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated. Registration is required. Call (781) 259-2206 for details.
