Rhode Island Rarity Round-up

Every winter Rhode Island attracts a wide range of rarities including Black-tailed and Black-headed Gulls, Barnacle and Pink-footed Geese, Eurasian Widgeons, Gyrfalcon, Tufted Duck plus semi-uncommon species like Barrow's Goldeneye and Canvasbacks. This trip will be designed to pick up as many of the known rarities in one day and, by day's end, we will have close to 20 species of ducks and a good variety of wintering passerines. Dress warmly; lunch, not included in fee, will be at a heated restaurant. Transportation provided from Drumlin Farm Education parking lot. Registration is required. Call (781) 259-2200 for details.
