Dr. Millman's talk will focus on the fungi that can be found in New England during the winter and the survival strategies of these species. He will also lead a walk around Drumlin Farm in search of some of them; the underside of a log is the equivalent of a nice cozy chair in front of the fire for many fungi. Signed copies of Millman's recent book Fascinating Fungi of New England will be available for purchase. Registration is required. Call (781) 259-2206 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=1842-DFP12WI1 for more information.
