New England Forestry Foundation specializes in forest conservation, sustainable forest management, and forest education. We have conserved over one million acres--more than any other organization in New England--and have 137 community forests available for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, birding, fishing, and more.
The Littleton office is adjacent to our Prouty Woods Community Forest with 107 acres of forest and trails open to the public. The site also includes an orchard of 165 American chestnut trees as part of a restoration initiative of this rare tree species.
