In honor of Black History Month, an Afro-Caribbean workshop with a hint of Caribbean carnival. Jorge Arce is a percussionist, educator, and native of Ponce, Puerto Rico. His performance is a unique and interactive exploration of Puerto Rican and Afro-Caribbean culture. Impersonating characters representative of the African ancestry of Puerto Rican culture, Jorge presents music, dances, lore, and stories handed down over 600 years of history.
