New England Championship Wrestling returns to live action with two events in March. March Badness 2012 kicks off in Malden, Ma at the Irish-American Club at 177 West Street on Sunday afternoon, March 11 with a special 4 PM bell time.
NECW fans can look forward to an afternoon of extraordinary and intriguing match ups.
In the main event, the Necw Heavyweight Champion, "The Infamous" Bobby Fish was asked to select an opponent for himself from a list of former Necw Heavyweight Champions. Fish selected none other than "The Underground King" Slyck Wagner Brown, making a return to Necw after a long absence. Brown has held numerous titles since his reign as Necw Heavyweight Champion in 2001 and may well be in the prime of his career.
In a special non-title "dream match," Necw Tag Team Champions, The Dynasty (D.C. Dillinger and Brian Fury managed by Sean Gorman) will face off in a non-title challenge match against former two time Necw Tag Team Champions, The Logan Brothers. After the Logan's last appearance in Necw and their shocking post-match attack on All Money Is Legal, it will be interesting to see how these two teams stack up.
World Women's Wrestling Champion, Alexxis Neveah has signed for a return grudge match against Adrianna who picked up a stunning countout victory over the champion in January at New Year's Evolution with the championship on the line.
Plus, The 7 foot Giant Pharoah makes his return to Necw action in Malden taking on the monstrous Apocalypse. Matt Taven faces Johnny Thunder. Rounding out the card, "The Real Deal" Brandon Locke collides with newcomer Dalton Castle.
Tickets for this event are $15 for adults, $10 for kids under 12.
