Marblehead Village School

What?

Star pick Defender for the New England Revolution, Rob Valentino, will visit Marblehead Youth Soccer Association
"Round Robin" and end of Spring Season Celebration Day at Village School. Before joining New England Revolution this year,
Valentino has represented the USA Olympic Under 23 Team in Japan, The played College Soccer for San Francisco, and was
named Hermann Trophy Award National player of the Year 2007.

Valentino is a tall, strong defender, can play anywhere at the back, and has huge ability in the air. He will speak
to Youth Soccer about becoming a player, and his advice to Marblehead YOuth Soccer Players. Last year, star
NE Revolution Rookie Adam Cristman visited Marblehead, and is now a key player and scorer for New England Revs.

Also appearing with be the famed Glover's Regiment, to give a Salute to Valentino, The New England Revolution, and
to the Players, Parents and Families of Marblehead Youth Soccer. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.

MYSA Preseident Kevin Cullen will outline MYSA goals to bring fun and soccer skill to Marblehead Youth.

Where?

Location will be the Upper Field at Marblehead Village School, 93 Village Street, Marblehead, 01945

When?

The Glover's Regiment Salute will begin at 12 NOON, Fathers Day, 15th June.

Who should attend?

All Sports or News Desk press and photographers. There will be plenty of Photo and Interview Opps
with Valentino, The Glover's Regiment, and the Youth Soccer players who will be playing their end
season "Round Robin" games. Marblehead's Travel teams will be conducting skill tests and practice drills.
