NECSEM Conference and Javanese Gamelan Concert

The Northeast Chapter of the Society for Ethnomusicology--which promotes the research, study, and performance of music in all historical periods and cultural contexts--will hold its annual conference at Tufts. Their activities provide a forum for the discussion of current scholarly research while promoting & developing traditional art forms from around the world. The conference will conclude with an 8PM performance by Rinengga Sih Tentrem, Tufts Gamelan Ensemble, and the Boston Village Gamelan.
