Shoot, Edit, and Burn: Digital Video Editing

Practice outdoor shooting (weather permitting) along with video editing and creating a DVD. Explore what to look for in an HD camcorder, camcorder key functions, how to develop a shooter's eye, dealing with problem situations, capturing intelligible sound, planning and editing a video project, creating a soundtrack, the editing process (transitions, titles, special effects, and mixing audio), authoring, burning a DVD, and printing labels. Equipment will be provided.
