The Blue Hills Trailside Museum is the interpretive center for the state’s 7,000-acre Blue Hills Reservation and is managed by Mass Audubon. Indoor exhibits feature wildlife you may see encounter exploring the reservation’s 150 miles of trails. On the museum grounds, stroll through exhibits featuring live native wildlife such as white tail deer, a river otter, turkey vulture, red-tailed hawks, and a snowy owl. Be sure to visit the real museum, the 7000 acre Blue Hills Reservation.
Drinks, snacks, maps, nature related gifts and books are available at the Trailside's gift shop and admissions area.
