Barnes & Noble

Once again this year, Barnes & Noble in Nashua, NH is offering NEQM the opportunity to raise money for our outreach programs on Thursday, November 20. Anyone shopping at the store that day and presenting the Barnes & Noble NEQM Voucher prior to making a purchase helps the museum earn a percentage of the net sales for the day. This applies to food in the cafe as well. Vouchers are available online at www.nequiltmuseum.org, in the Museum Shop, or in the B&N Nashua store.

Outreach program manager Rhonda Galpern will be at the store between 11 am and 8 pm to meet and greet the public and do a make & take project with children. Julie Crossland, coordinator of the New Hampshire Quilt Documentation Project, will be in the store to talk about the documentation project at 1 pm and 7 pm.

A cheesecake sampling table will be set up at the Bookfair to have staffed by NEQM volunteers. Stop by to sample and purchase a cheesecake with a voucher and the Museum will receive $5 for every cheesecake sold. The cheesecakes may be ordered at Barnes and Noble on the day of the Book Fair, and you can schedule a time (a few days later) to pick them up. Arrangements may be made to pick them up at the museum. Details will be provided at the Book Fair.

Flavors available are Godiva Chocolate, Pumpkin, White Chocolate Raspberry, and New York Cheesecake. Each cake costs $35 and serves 14.
