VITALITY WORKSHOP
MANAGING ENERGY, MANAGING STRESS, MANAGING HEALTH
Workshop Purpose:
In this workshop participants will learn yoga, meditation and other practices that will increase energy, reduce stress and lead to better health
Examples of practices
· Gentle yoga and mindfulness based meditation
· Positive stories to create desired results
· Nutrition and physical fitness practices that are easy to follow
· Emotional Intelligence and Social Intelligence to build more satisfying relationships
How does this program work?
· This is an eight week program – meeting on Sunday evening from 5 – 7
· The dates of the workshop are May 3,10,17,24 and June 7,14,21,28.
· Yoga and meditation are practiced in all sessions
· The yoga movements are gentle and meditation exercises are done in chairs – loose fitting clothes are recommended. Participants will need to bring yoga mats and be prepared to purchase meditations CD’s
· To receive the full benefit of this workshop participants are expected to attend all sessions and to apply practices between class sessions

Facilitator
This course is facilitated by David Turner. David is a business consultant and experienced yoga teacher. In his 35 year professional career David has consistently focused on practices that build personal energy and reduce stress. He has received professional training from the Hay Group (emotional/social intelligence), Human Performance Institute (personal energy management), Oasis – UMass Medical Center (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction,) Kripalu Center (yoga and meditation)
