This workshop will examine the nature of autism spectrum disorders and the challenges professional face in working with children (thru middle school) who have received such a diagnosis. Discussion will include the most current research findings on causation and review recommended educational practices. Participants will brainstorm problem-solving strategies using fictional case studies. Anastasia Galanopoulos, PhD, instructor.
