The Choral Singer’S Art

Charles Raines, Eliot Church music director, will conduct a choral concert exploring the vast wealth of music composed for choirs. The repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to the 20th century, includes works by Palestrina, Gibbons, Fauré, Finzi and Duruflé; spiritual arrangements by Alice Parker and Bob Chilcott, as well as pieces by Rutter, Lauridsen, Shearing, Gilbert & Sullivan and P.D.Q. Bach. The event is sponsored by The Eliot Church Music Commission and will include a reception.
