Drumming for Fun and Health

The frame drum dates back over four thousand years to the ancient Mediterranean world and is known to be one of the earliest musical cultures in human history. In this class learn the basic skills of frame drumming, an instrument compared to a tambourine, and understand how it can apply to a healthy balance within our hectic lives. Technically, through the sound of each stroke, frame drumming can represent the natural elements of earth, water, fire, air, and space.
