Dos Amigos Restaurant

Dos Amigos was born back in 1982 when Ronnie Lewis began selling burritos out of a little step van and a styrofoam cooler on the corner of 47th and Golder at the site of an old horse barn. He soon opened a small building with seating for 20 and a drive up window. Dos Amigos quickly grew with building additions, a bull arena, and performing stages and developed a reputation as a great place for good food and fun. Dos Amigos became legendary in West Texas and beyond for bull rides and great concerts. Some of the top bull riders in the country got their start here and world class performers like Willy Nelson, Billy Bob Thornton, Pat Green, Dierks Bentley, Clay Walker, and Ted Nugent have graced our stage. Nute and Rick Purcell took over as proprietors from Ronnie in 2003 and have continued on in the tradition he started.
