Hillcrest Cycles Grand Opening, Saturday 4/25, will be rock’n Salem.
Festivities include live music, free Bar-B-Q, ZAP electric car debut, best Corvette and best Harley contests.
Hillcrest Cycles of Salem is inviting all members of the community to join them in celebrating the grand opening of their all new Salem dealership, Saturday, April 25 from 9 AM to 5 PM at 207 Highland Ave, Route 107 in Salem.
Along with receiving free food and drink, attendees will hear live music from Barrence Wittfield and the Savages. Barrence is a world renowned rock’n roller who has opened for performers Bo Diddley, Tina Turner, George Thorogood, Robert Cray, The Reverend Solomon Burke, Los Lobos, and Taj Mahal. They will play from 12 PM to 3 PM.
The event will also introduce New Englanders to ZAP all electric cars and scooters. ZAP stands for zero air pollution. With thousands of all-electric vehicles manufactured ZAP cars are some of the most reliable and energy efficient vehicles on the road today. Hillcrest Cycles is leading the way to changing how Americans get around by offering these no-gas vehicles that charge their batteries from any AC outlet.
Hundreds of local owners of Corvettes and Harley-Davidson motorcycles will be on hand to showcase their vehicles and compete in the largest head-to-head class vehicle show on the North Shore. Attendees will have a chance to influence the judging as they visit each dynamic show piece.
A portion of proceeds from the purchase of any vehicle on Saturday will be donated to North Shore Children's Hospital.
