Assembly Square

Fireworks on the Mystic will feature live music, street performers, activities and games for children, and food from concession stands. All food sales will benefit the Somerville Children’s Network. In addition, the event will conclude with a 20 minute show-stopping fireworks display along the Mystic River. The festivities will celebrate the exciting changes underway as well as generate anticipation of the future of Assembly Square, which includes an urban village with retail shops, public parks and open spaces, restaurants, office space and a new MBTA Orange Line T stop.
