Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge

The Visitor Center at the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge is located at 680 Hudson Road off the Refuge's entrance known as Winterberry Way. The 5,000 square foot Visitor Center was designed and built to be as "green" as possible. Therefore, many of the supplies used during the construction were either recycled or re-used from other recycled products and the building encompasses many sustainable features.
