Afternoon Tea followed by a presentation entitled "Why Dickens Still Matters in the 21st Century" by Boston University's Professor Natalie McKnight. Why and how Dickens' popularity repsists in the 21st Century in spite of the length of his novels and our culture's preference for brevity in films, tv, and communication in celebration of the 200th year of Dickens' birth.
