Stereotypically, artists are characterized as “suffering.” We will delve into this model, and why suffering may or may not be necessary to the process of creating. This Panel is held as part of Brandeis'Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Arts. Panelists include: Rosie Rosenzweig, founder; Dana Maiben, composer; Diana Durham, writer; Laury Gutierrez, musician; Michele L’Heureux, artist; and Vivian Montgomery, musician. A Musical Interlude by Emily Corbato will precede the event at 12 noon.
