One Hundred Years Of Kibbutz Life: A Century Of Crises And Reinvention

After offering some basic definitions, my lecture will have three parts: 1) the story of the woman who should be credited with founding the first kibbutz; 2) an overview of the principles that guided kibbutz life; and 3) the ways those principles changed so that the kibbutz could survive.
